The ability to create beauty, comfort and pleasure in spaces has always been a fascination for Samawat, hence, choosing Interior Design as a career path seemed the perfect fit for her.
She describes her personal style as eclectic and modern mid-century, which she beautifully adapts to the clients’ needs and wants to form a combined vision. Having been enormously influenced by the arts beginning at a young age, she is an avid artist. She appreciates outstanding craftsmanship and artistic collaboration to create unique and special design elements to elevate the overall space.
She graduated with a degree in interior design from the University of Bahrain in 2017 and dove straight into residential and commercial projects. She joined Collage in 2019 with the role to conceptualize designs for interior spaces and layouts. Her ability to connect with client briefs and quickly discern what sets them apart allows her to assemble material palettes and design concepts unique to each project. She looks at every new project as an opportunity to be shaped, through the use of material and the lens of artistic curiosity, into functional forms and spaces.
